So how do you see the rest of the season panning out?
No new additions, a smallish squad, and 4 months to the season's end.

My prediction is 7th in the league.
6th round of the FA Cup (drawn away to Man City)
And losing semi-finalists in the Europa

So basically an end of term report of "Tried hard, could do better".

You lot?

I think we will finish 8th. We are fading badly, the defense looks anything but solid. Too many underperformers and what we are seeing is our backup options off the bench are not all that.

It's 64, 65 & 66 all rolled into one. FA cup, european trophy and the WC with johnson as RB, Dec as captain, goalscorer and two set ups for Bowen who will score a hatrick in the final after replacing Kane who's career will fizzle out and he'll end up a pisshead like a previous yid striker.

IT'S DESTINY.

Re: So how do you see the rest of the season panning out?
I have no idea why people think we are going to drop away… I mean to finish out of the top 10 would require us lose like 10 of the last 15.
I want to see 8 wins out of the 15 and still think 6th place is expected

Re: So how do you see the rest of the season panning out?
That’s the thing that is really pissing me off about Moyes, he claims we can’t find anyone better than what we’ve got which basically says there is no one in world football who can do a job better than Yarmo and Masuaku.

They’re both absolute dogshit.

He’s also saying to Perkins, Ashby, Otto-Flex and the other that they’re worse than Yarmo and Masuaku.

Playing Yarmo especially for 10 mins here and there is an absolute waste of everyone’s time.

Get Otto or Perkins out there you Jock cunt. Starting today.

Johnson massive opportunity missed mate in jan.
We are a couple of injuries away from being fucked and unless moyes stops his pathetic choice of yarmalenko and masuaku as our game changers off the bench instead of the kids then we are bolloxed

Re: So how do you see the rest of the season panning out?
I’ve suggested elsewhere that Moyes needs to focus on one competition only, due to the thinness of the squad. We could make a good go of trying to get 4th spot or winning Europa with the first eleven we have. FA cup must be secondary. If we can get CL - a long shot whichever way you look at it - we may be able to hang to Rice and go big with signings in the summer….I know - but you’ve got keep dreaming.

No. I'll be a ticketed fan in Seville. Apart from that you are correct though.

I've already got Seville booked up so doubt I'll need to do too much queue jumping on that one. FA cup anything thing tho.

That’s the spirit Ern!

I am inclined to agree though. I fear we’ll rue this latest criminal lack of ambition and investment

Re: So how do you see the rest of the season panning out?
If it all goes industrially pear-shaped, we'll hit the relegation zone about mid-April, so it's not yet all "job done" for the board's "Top table football next term" default business plan.

We may not even need any more points to ensure safety though, given the shit at the foot of the table so no need to spend anything.

Re: So how do you see the rest of the season panning out?
Because of the lack of intent to ensure we intend to stay where we’ve positioned ourselves brilliantly this season I see this as a lose/lose situation. If we don’t do anything and slide down and lose in the cups we are in. It compounds the fact momentum has slowed down and the kick on will struggle to happen so our better players will leave. If we do win something or get far in the Europa then our better players will leave or get picked off by the bigger clubs offering that good season we had on a regular basis.

Good teams need to see more good players coming in at key moments unless they are a squad full of stars like the established top 4 are. The better you do the more likely that team will be broken up it’s another shit thing about modern football and the gap we cannot get close to closing under this ownership.

Basically from now I see it going to shit AGAIN. Because that’s all I’ve seen happen in the past so postitions and rounds of cups do not matter to the cunty outcome.
